Meet the artist
Nina Budzyńska
A graduate of the University of the Arts in Poznań, she is a graphic artist, illustrator and painter. She received the main international jury prize at the Jasnowidze illustration competition 2020/2021. She is a co-founder of the risograph print studio Ksero, the screen-printing studio Sitko, and Zinek, an independent culture hub and zine reading room. She illustrates children’s books and collaborates as a graphic artist with many cultural institutions. She runs the Comics and Graphic Novel Studio on the part-time programme at the University of the Arts in Poznań, leads workshops for children and adults, and coordinates events. In her free time she paints colourful, wild canvases. .
