No stock photography, no AI, no templates. Every piece in the collection is made with a named artist, from the first idea through the sketches to the scan of the finished original.
We print in a fine art studio in Poland, using the giclée process. Prints go on Solution Fine Art Galerie Rag 270 gsm cotton paper, canvases on Solution Canvas 365 gsm stretched over a wooden frame and ready to hang, in numbered editions of fifty. The original paintings behind the reproductions are for sale in the gallery.
Meet Szymon
Hello, I am Szymon Ślipko, a keen player and the person behind Serve and Volley Art. In 2023 I set out to make a tennis calendar that treated the sport with the design it deserves. That became our own calendar, put together with attention to every detail, and a few thousand tennis fans buy it each year. We are working on the 2027 edition now, the fourth.
The calendar was full of illustrations, and the art came next: fine art prints and canvases. That is how we started working with artists and illustrators in Poland and abroad, many of them tennis players themselves. Six artists work with us today, with more names joining soon.
They make their own readings of tennis moments, the famous ones and the quiet ones, including hand-painted originals in oil and acrylic.
How the work is made
Every piece is the work of one named artist. We do not buy from image banks, and we do not generate anything by machine or with AI tools.
Idea and sketch
With the artist we choose the moment, the match or the feeling worth showing.
Illustration or original
The artist makes an illustration, or a hand-painted original in oil or acrylic.
Digitisation
Originals are scanned above 1200 DPI.
Colour proof
We compare a test print against the original and correct the colour.
Giclée printing
Pigment printing at a fine art studio in Poland. The colours are rated to last over 75 years.
Number and certificate
Every copy is numbered within its edition and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Editions of fifty
Prints and canvases are published in editions of fifty. Originals exist once.
